    The UFS301 is an ultrasonic fuel sensor designed to measure liquid levels with high precision. It is built for diesel fuel tanks and can also measure water in stainless steel or aluminum vessels within the stated range. This makes it useful where stable and accurate level visibility is important.

    Connectivity and Communication

    This model uses an RS485 interface, which suits installations that need dependable communication over longer cable runs. The sensor automatically sends fuel level data every 10 seconds, so connected systems can keep receiving updated readings without manual polling. That helps simplify integration with monitoring platforms or control equipment.

    Monitoring and Detection Capabilities

    The main job of the UFS301 is accurate liquid level monitoring. The datasheet states ±0.5% measurement accuracy with 0.1 mm resolution, which supports close tracking of fuel or water changes inside compatible tanks. In practical use, this helps operators follow consumption, refill activity, or unusual level drops more clearly.

    Power and Environmental Suitability

    The sensor supports a 9–36 VDC input range, which makes it easier to use across different vehicle and equipment power systems. Its IP67 rating and operating range of -30°C to +80°C also make it suitable for demanding environments where dust, water exposure, and temperature changes are part of normal operation. The low 0.36W power draw at 12VDC supports efficient long-term use.
