ATP102 Description
Core Purpose
The ATP102 BLE is an internal tire pressure monitoring sensor made for small vehicles. It checks tire pressure and tire temperature in real time and sends abnormal pressure alerts when a problem appears. The datasheet also notes that it works with Queclink tracking devices, which receive the sensor data over BLE and upload it to the backend server.
Connectivity and Communication
This sensor uses BLE for short-range communication with a paired Queclink tracking device. In practice, that gives the vehicle a simple way to move tire data from the wheel area to the tracking unit without extra cabling. The operating frequency is listed as the 2.4GHz band, which supports that wireless link.
Monitoring Capabilities
Its main job is to watch two things that matter during daily driving: tire pressure and tire temperature. The pressure monitoring range is 0–92 psi, and the temperature monitoring range is -40°C to 85°C, so it is built to cover normal operating conditions for supported vehicle types. It also includes a low battery alert, helping users know when the sensor needs service attention.
Power and Environmental Suitability
The sensor is designed for long-term use with a replaceable CR2050HR 3V battery rated at 350mAh. Queclink lists estimated battery life at 4–6 years, which makes it suitable for continuous monitoring without frequent battery changes. The device also supports a wide operating temperature of -40°C to 105°C, helping it handle demanding wheel-area conditions.
Installation Use
Because it is an internal sensor, it is installed inside the wheel rather than mounted externally. The datasheet highlights this built-in design as a way to avoid damage, which is useful in everyday vehicle use. It is specifically intended for small vehicles and is not for trailers or trucks.
