AT101 Description
Core Purpose
The AT101 is an outdoor asset tracker designed to locate and monitor valuable equipment in fixed or remote environments. It combines GNSS positioning with Wi-Fi access point scanning to improve location accuracy in different conditions.
The device is built for long-term, low-maintenance deployment. With replaceable batteries and ultra-low power operation, it can operate for more than 15 years with twice-daily reporting.
Connectivity and Communication
The AT101 operates on LoRaWAN® networks, allowing long-range communication with low power consumption. It supports OTAA and ABP activation in Class A mode, making it compatible with standard LoRaWAN® gateways and network servers.
It also includes Bluetooth 5.3 and NFC for simple configuration and local setup. This reduces installation time and allows technicians to manage devices efficiently on-site.
Positioning and Tracking
The tracker uses GNSS positioning with 5.0 m accuracy (CEP) under direct line of sight. It supports both cold and hot start positioning, with an average hot start time of 1 second for faster reacquisition.
In addition to GNSS, the device uses Wi-Fi access point scanning for indoor positioning. This helps improve location visibility in environments where satellite signals may be limited.
Multiple tracking modes are available, including motion tracking, periodic tracking, and timing tracking. The device also supports geofencing, enabling alerts when assets enter or leave predefined areas.
Monitoring and Detection Capabilities
The built-in 3-axis accelerometer detects tilt status and movement. This allows the system to identify asset displacement or unusual positioning changes.
An integrated NTC temperature sensor measures environmental conditions from -40°C to 125°C with 0.1°C resolution. This enables monitoring of temperature-sensitive assets during storage or deployment.
The device can store up to 1000 historical records locally and supports retransmission to prevent data loss.
Power and Environmental Suitability
The AT101 is powered by four 2700 mAh ER14505 Li-SOCl₂ replaceable batteries. Depending on reporting frequency, it can operate for 4+ to 15+ years.
With an operating temperature range of -30°C to +70°C, IP67 ingress protection, and IK09 impact resistance, the device is built for outdoor and harsh industrial environments.
Its integrated anti-theft structure and UV-resistant housing further support long-term outdoor deployment.
